friendly_fren··on Apple Store leaks 4.7-inch ‘iPhone SE’ name
Why would you buy a cheaper phone when you already have an older high-end one? You don't need to upgrade every few years.
friendly_fren··on Why Taiwan has become a problem for WHO
The leader of WHO blindly praises everything that China does.
friendly_fren··on Oil is selling for less than $10 across key North American hubs
High smog in all of California? Or just in those awful cities? Seems crazy to dictate taxes across the entire of a large state just because the urban areas have smog.
friendly_fren··on Honda bucks industry trend by removing touchscreen controls
The f35 has a large touch screen that pilots use. Maybe the $1m helmet has a way to interact without touching.
friendly_fren··on Tails 4.4
Does curl not expose your IP? I was under the assumption only the official browser used tor.

friendly_fren··on Fake Goods Sold by AliExpress, Amazon, eBay, Walmart and Wish
individual freedom. I hate nanny government regulation. The government's role isn't to protect people from making bad decisions.

Harmful is subjective. Don't ban my plastic bags or straws.

friendly_fren··on Fake Goods Sold by AliExpress, Amazon, eBay, Walmart and Wish
People are downvoting this but it is true. Consumers have the responsibility to pay attention to where their goods come from. If you are buying something directly from China for an extremely cheap price, you shouldn't expect it to be genuine (not fake) or safe for bodily contact.

friendly_fren··on How the CIA used Crypto AG encryption devices to spy on countries for decades
A spy agency is necessary for the USA to compete on the world stage. Though, it's operations should be significantly limited.

The CIA is a disaster that needs to be dismantled.

friendly_fren··on Jeffrey Epstein's mystery bank came alive after his death
What are we going to do about it? As individuals we feel powerless.

Epstein/handlers have dirt on the media and were able to suppress THE story. Look at the ABC hot mic incident. Who knows how many media organizations are effectively controlled.

friendly_fren··on Just 29k Western Monarch butterflies are left in California
That's not surprising at all. The cartels control Mexico. They stop at nothing for profit. They regularly murder presidental candidates they don't like so they don't get elected. The government is beyond corrupt.
friendly_fren··on Just 29k Western Monarch butterflies are left in California
This reminds me of The Pale Blue Dot by Karl Sagan

It would be cooler if someone cloned existing ransomware and took payment and never decrypted files. Then people would stop paying and stop encouraging it.
friendly_fren··on Jeff Bezos warns US military it risks losing tech supremacy
>The USA has a lot of Aircraft Carriers, none of which could withstand 50 time-on-target (hit at the same time) ship killers at 5000 MPH. China could easily deal with them all.

Do you have any source on China's missile defense?
