HUGE difference between consumer self driving car [Everywhere, at all times] and the Machines as a Service [Geo, time, weather-fenced operations][1].

Waymo appears to be at the head of the pack; Sacha Arnoud, Director of Engineering for Waymo gave a talk a few weeks ago at MIT[2] and gives a good idea. We are about 5 years out until these start rolling out as MaaS (machines as a service). Probably 10+ years for level 4 highway operations for consumer models according to Frazzoli.

lacertaon Time to Take a Stand

Well, it is supposed to unscaleable. This is how our house of representatives works! The idea is with-in each state there are districts. Representatives from a district are supposed to represent those people within the district. An exchange trader who lives in NYC probably have very different concerns than a farmer in an small district in Nebraska. It is actually a wonderful system when it works. We have grown as a nation so our number of people per representative has grown enormously since the start (we are locked by law at 435). One concern we all have in the states is, when does an individuals voice become too diluted!

This is my first html5 game with a java backend. If you eat other players, you will (usually) get candidate specific quotes.

I know of a few bugs such as the audio not playing on mobile devices. This is because of how android and apple have handled html5 audio and am working on a hack to get it going.

How do we search and see if the area where I currently do research in is something that YC Research would focus on in the near future? I am finishing up a MS in ChBE with a focus on designing materials using computational methods (eg. DFT) and would like to continue with similar projects.
