mcrocop··on FedEx Delivers Billions to the Taxman
"Smith didn’t dispute any specific details of the article in his statement"

This is factually incorrect.

Here are some direct rebuttals:

NY times allegation: "In the 2017 fiscal year, FedEx owed more than $1.5 billion in taxes. The next year, it owed nothing. "

FedEx rebuttal: "FedEx has paid federal income tax every year, including fiscal year 2018."

NY Times allegation:" FedEx reaped big savings, bringing its effective tax rate from 34 percent in fiscal year 2017 to less than zero in fiscal year 2018, meaning that, overall, the government technically owed it money. But it did not increase investment in new equipment and other assets in the fiscal year that followed, as Mr. Smith said businesses like his would."

FedEx rebuttal: "Following passage of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA), FedEx invested billions in capital items eligible for accelerated depreciation and made large contributions to our employee pension plans"

Etc, etc, etc... These are literally the first few sentences from BOTH the article and the response. Either you're being intellectually dishonest by claiming that they didn't dispute and specific details or you're incompetent.

>Jumping to conclusions that fit your anti-immigrant racial prejudice, pretending that it’s actually about “cultural differences”, complaining about “virtue signalling”. It’s like playing a game of alt-right bingo here.

You forgot to call me a "Nazi" and "bigot" and "facist" and all the other things you ANTIFA folks call those who have different opinions than yourselves.

I don't remember the source but a quick search of distribution: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Islam_in_London#/media/File:Is...

and acid attacks: https://www.thesun.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2017/07/hd-map-a...

Again - I'm sure you could locate the source or find much more recent maps to show the correlation. The borough with the second highest Muslim population currently has the highest number of Acid attacks.

Pretending that cultural differences don't exist on this planet is just plain silly. It's sad to see this level of virtue signalling on HN.
mcrocop··on Acid Attacks on the Rise in the U.K
True. But I think it is the rise in acid attacks that is intriguing. Indeed, a rise in crime in general, and it is correlated, moderately, with Muslim % of population.
mcrocop··on Acid Attacks on the Rise in the U.K
There is a correlation between the % of Muslim population and # of acid attacks. This could be interpreted different ways (i.e. perhaps Muslims are being targeted by others?)... But to call someone's viewpoint alt-right dogwhistle because they bring up the other obvious possibility is close-minded and is what leads to these sorts of problems in the first place.

Something that is prevalent in the Middle East is now also prevalent in the place where large numbers of people from the Middle East have come to.

Something tells me its not a coincidence.

mcrocop··on VPN Report – Reviews of the top VPNs
He doesn't like PIA, a company that sponsors dozens of security companies/projects/etc because he would rather the company he chooses put their money to better use.... Like make bear graphics so his VPN is 'fun' to use.

Again - how did this make the front page... Embarrassing for HN.

mcrocop··on VPN Report – Reviews of the top VPNs
How did this make the front page? People voting this story up must not have read his actual analysis. Pathetic.
mcrocop··on VPN Report – Reviews of the top VPNs
Reading his reviews I felt the author was looking for that warm feeling a toddler feels when being coddled by his mother. Take a look at his comments on PIA, "Extremely transactional. You get in and get out. It delivers its experience the way a utility company would. Sometimes, that may be a good thing. But in this case, I'd rather give my money to a company who might put it to better use."

What? Extremely transactional? You're in and out? When using my VPN I want to click 'connect' to connect, choose US if I want my connection for the US, and 'disconnect' to disconnect... No fancy website or pretty colors needed.
