mpchlets··on A Letter from Tim Cook on Maps
Software companies always issues letters of sorry. Maybe you are just not paying attention or have no idea what is going on in the software community. Or perhaps you prefer this flavor of kool-aid. Apple had 3 options: 1. Delay release of product 2. Pull maps, release 3. Release an app with bugs They chose 3. So what, happens all the time. But don't call this letter noble nor novel.
mpchlets··on Why you should quit Facebook too
Try rhapsody - its similar to spotify but works without facebook.
mpchlets··on Apple will no longer license aftermarket power adapters for iPhone 5
I wonder when apple will start offering their own Internet and not allow Apple users to connect to the Internet that we all know and love. They are creating non-standards to squeeze more dimes out of its very loyal users.
mpchlets··on Running a Business With Staff Scattered Around the World
I work for a globally distributed company and we have similar issues. The only way I see it working is by allowing total freedom and getting people fully immersed to the point of ownership over their tasks.

We also make team collaboration software, so we utilize it and I highly suggest everyone else trying this model does the same. Use the software and do not deviate, then watch your company flourish.

mpchlets··on How we screwed (almost) the whole Apple community
This sounds a whole like like the Sokal Affair - take a look at it on wikipedia if not familiar. And all before the Internet.
mpchlets··on How we screwed (almost) the whole Apple community
This reminds me of the Sokal Affair: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sokal_affair

Very similar idea - and all before the Internet.

mpchlets··on Trimming the Application Fat
I can understand your point, we are not trying to relay any particular information here, I am stating that the Assembla users should be ready for upcoming articles that convey much more information about removal. After all, it was just a "teaser" - I really appreciate your thoughts. Thanks.
