I think riggrep will not search UTF-16 files by default. I had some such issue once at least.
Can't imagine anyone here using 32bit Windows and limiting themselves to 4GB of RAM.
Are there even any cheap laptops sold with that little nowadays?
SQLite is open-source, meaning that you can make as many copies of it as you want and do whatever you want with those copies, without limitation. But SQLite is not open-contribution. In order to keep SQLite in the public domain and ensure that the code does not become contaminated with proprietary or licensed content, the project does not accept patches from people who have not submitted an affidavit dedicating their contribution into the public domain.
All of the code in SQLite is original, having been written specifically for use by SQLite. No code has been copied from unknown sources on the internet.
Doing the same in e.g. Notepad++ does not trigger any warnings though.
The good news is also that it has no effect. :)
You can verify this for yourself by grepping the Visual Studio headers for VC_EXTRALEAN and WIN32_EXTRA_LEAN.
There's a lot of extra fluff like examples and such beyond the basics of C++ initialization.
Also seems to have relatively little text per page in the Amazon preview [1].

Seems hard to make it any shorter. Well, I guess you could remove "const" if you want.
