split panels, profile switcher, tab groups...
The 90% remaining are UI gimmicks that are irrelevant anyway (mods, custom cursor, free canvas?). Even when Arc was still alive they're useless which is why the browser died (it sucked at doing things that matter). Zen just picked up this lack of focus and make it worse with the solo maintainer situation.
Firefox has those features now, that's all that matters. Not sure I wanna trust a solo dev on my daily browser, however competent they are.
what's the name of that country who's really good at this stuff? I can't remember
That is what we need, and if you're making the argument that a terminal shell is the best place to provide them then I don't know what to say.
Not complex at all, only one extra session other than the ones doing work and it's on a dumb model and can be thrown away & restarted because it only dispatches work, not doing anything.
I do everything in there, collecting requirements, kick off research, branching, merging, not one other agent on top. I considered making that orchestration command llm-powered but it's not justified at my current use.
It's not more expensive, in fact I could have just chugged along with the slow and manual session by session work but I have a claude subscription and another GLM one (the most low cost basic tier, not even much), that just sit there collecting dust if I don't put them to use in a more efficient way.
And doing session by session would face your problem when context switching too much become unscalable.
More insane is them also passing a law that forbid usages of the same footages for citizen journalism purposes. This came out after someone posted a footage from their home cam recording that controversial accident when a congressman hit and kill a high-schooler unprosecuted. You can look it up.
You brought up the people being displaced by settlements, but the film focuses on school teachers who get sent there against their will which completely changed the course of their lives. Back then almost everyone worked for the government and teachers, like soldiers, can be assigned to such outpost if they didn't have connections.
Is this supposed to be a plus? When you have indirections they're supposed to provide some abstraction and the abstraction might or might not provide the utilities you desire, but there is a point to it. A near 1:1 mapping is completely useless and just a different syntax for the sake of it.
