Vim bindings joke was great

Absolutely, in so many ways he is humble enough to ask the simple questions and let the guest give his view on it

I have recently wondered if it would work to have a fully visual standup comedian. Would be a challenge for sure

Good short fun

I feel like monkey island one and two was basically a very advanced "book" with basic animated illustrations. But you could still fill in a lot with your own imagination with the graphics of that time. Skip forward to any of todays games and they are way way closer to a movie then a book. Just like when any book is made into a movie there is a lot of hardcore fans that have a different mental model of their book and don't want it overshadowed by a movie. It is easy to avoid and not watch the "movie". I will be very happy to see a new game by Ron based on what he feels is his vision and not what the public wants.

Kind of off topic. But we need to find a way to reduce the noise of squeaking subway trains.

I love the how quick and easy it gets right to the point

Liftoff by Eric Berger. SpaceX early days from more of the perspective of the employees. Really entertaining, well written and learned a lot about rocketry. Highly recommend

Cool idea. Was having issues with phone

My 2 cents: Exercise = hard. I hate exercising but love doing almost any sport. Many Sports have side effect of good exercise. I think it triggers my instinct to keep it up when I am tired. Chasing a soccer ball similar stimulus to run and catch prey, or run away from danger. Find a sport you like. Even if your terrible at it, you will get better at it. Both physically and skill wise.

My mom read this book to me as a child all the time. 15/20 years later I ran across it some how. I remembered my brain doing some kind of "summer salt jump flip", awakening some hidden part of my brain recognizing those plums, apples, caterpillar, etc. The illustrations are so colorful and distinct.

GC feels like this magic box. Does great things for you without having to worry about memory leaks, which is great. But like anything that is magical you give up some control. I guess it's a tradeoff

I remember one of the weirder tweets by Bezos when falcon 9 landed for the first time. Basically saying "welcome to the club". Not exactly apples to apples.

First episode is really good but the second time he was on lex podcast was even better in my opinion: https://youtu.be/_L3gNaAVjQ4

This response sounds like it is made from an AI

it might be a naive approach. I just ignore that cheating even happens. I assume everyone is not a cheater. If for some reason they are a cheater, i believe they will just get discovered after a while or it will be their internal satisfaction loss. I don't pour my heart into the game, it's just a fun distraction. But I feel for the more serious players, the paranoia must be so annoying.

DIV game studio was really cool. Especially the online community forum where you could share your creations. I still remember that clay animation game. It looked so impressive

I am actually glad a small portion of the car industry is working an alternative to Battery power. Hydrogen makes sense is some very limited areas right now (long range scenarios), but inefficiency of it makes it very dumb system right now. I could see it making more sense if in the future we would really implement a lot of cheaper electricity power plants (fusion power).

Recycling has become such a lazy way of dealing with a bit more convenience. Single use plastics and plastic packaging should be banned or at least be taxed accordingly for subsequent processing.

Travelling doesn't mean having to visit all the tourist sites. You can travel anywhere and get a much more genuine experience by not going every tourists destination. You will have such a better experience. Especially like in your case if you studied/know the local language.
