I think I need to generalize and improve the blog post to include better content is what everyone is saying. I will do that and post a better version of the blog soon.
What’s new in this version is the clearer productization/packaging around fixed-scope deliverables (Quick Fix from $29, Standard Task from $89, and a custom tier for complex work), plus a tighter focus on Microsoft stack work (.NET 2-10/ASP.NET/EF Core/Azure Functions/App Service/CI-CD/etc.).
Feedback request for HN: if you’ve outsourced .NET/Azure tickets before, what info do you need upfront to feel comfortable with fixed-price execution (e.g., definition-of-done checklist, code review style, test expectations, security/NDA concerns)?
If anyone wants, share a single “one-paragraph task brief” here (or email via the contact form) and we will reply with how we would scope it + what we would quote it at—no obligation.
I'm Prashant. I built Secure Share, a tool that is capable of connecting to your existing cloud storage like AWS S3 or Azure Blob, managing files and folders there, and securely sharing it with other users.
This might sound odd because most of the founders do market research and then come up with a release. But in my case, it's differ. I have a tool, and I don't know how to sell it!
I built this tool with the assumption that it can be a useful tool for businesses with 50+ sizes who have a frequent need to exchange files.
I'm not able to figure out my niche so that I can improve upon my marketing message and target a specific group of users.
I wanted to ask the community for help on this to see if anyone can guide me to the right direction in terms of finding the niche.
