This project has been a journey for me, and I've learned a lot about how sudoku puzzles are created, graded, and solved. I learned about the solving techniques that pros use to solve hard puzzles and I've incorporated them into a step-by-step solver that explains to the player why a move is legal.
I have also implemented my own handwriting recognition model using Apple's turicreate and the EMNIST dataset. The main reason I trained my own model is because I wanted to use the X character as a way to erase numbers, and also because I want to be able to add scratching over a number to clear it (I just need a dataset for that, which I'm working on).
The handwriting recognition also supports inserting pencil notes, and clearing them.
Overall I've had lots of fun working on this, and I hope you can give it a try and let me know what you think. I am already working on improvements, and so feedback will be extremely helpful in making it better.
One day, with the help of another student, I managed to install Snow Leopard on my Acer notebook and the first thing I wanted to do was figure out how iPhone programming worked. However I was instantly confused at the syntax of the language and that threw me off.
I did try again two more times though, and in the last one it just clicked. That was mid-2012. I dropped out of university for a job opportunity in 2015 and have been an iPhone developer ever since.
Thank you, Brad Cox.

What if you're a nuclear engineer that just wanna make the hot bit go hotter, and don't want to care about the nasty habit that radiation has of killing people?
This is just me speculating, but what if Jack realized the IPO would be a disaster (for that reason or others) and decided that this was the best strategy to halt it without recourse?
Maybe they don't care about it anymore. Or maybe they do but don't have the time/motivation to work on it. Some people have lives. Do you want to see changes to this project? Then fork it.
HTTP caches and the absence of overcomplicated JS frameworks will do this better than any developer (simply because there's less to be done).
This article is basically a web dev admitting native apps are better but refusing to behave accordingly, choosing instead to make their own lives harder.
Edit: Also, makes this whole statement then publishes their article on medium...
Why do people keep fretting about Betelgeuse?? No, it's extremely unlikely it will harm earth when it goes nova: https://arxiv.org/pdf/1406.3143v2.pdf
A developer making even a small salary working remotely from a "third-world" country is still making much more money than the average person. Just as an example, on my first remote position I was making as much money as each of my parents who were on 10+ years careers in corporate sales. It's nuts.
Of course the quality of life outside work made it worth moving to Europe, but to this day I still wonder if I should move back to stay closer to family while keeping a great salary.
With that being said, if it zipped by the plane very quickly, there's the possibility it was maybe a very large RC plane shaped like a guy in a jetpack, which I think could be a bit more plausible.
