Some workers have shifts, some have to work outside in the rain.
It's only fair that everyone works outside in the rain in shifts?
* All the public bids where too expensive. so the City decided to be it's own contractor, it must be cheaper.
* Keep changing plans, double the size .. after starting construction.
* Hire an architect that hates shops, change all plans again to add shops.
* Start paying contractors by time instead of by job, they start stealing.
* because of all the changes : stairs don't fit, cable management is broken, firesafety doesn't work.
* Don't fuck with german firesafety, they won't approve it, and you can't bribe them.

Does he have a name? What has he published before? Is he even an expert in the field?
Because lanuages are illogical, with lots of historic baggage.
if mutable is expensive, and should be difficult then "let mut" makes more sense.
var looks like a default to me, not a special case that needs care.
Acceptance just makes it hurt much less.
The missing tuition support is really harsh, especially if Turing is for the US
The camera is an example of unrepairability.
Apple blocks replacing an iphone camera with an iphone camera using their software.

Europe as a single entity is problematic, there's a north-south gradient, the cold war east-west divide, and EU/non EU.
* Switching jobs was less common, there used to be loyalty from both sides.
* It's easy to get competent workers from outside of "western" europe with a matching culture and timezone. I've seen a switch from outsourcing to poland(former east) to the ukraine(non EU+east). This is good for the polish guys, they're almost at our level now.
* Residence requirements for people outside of the European continent are low, and on base wage mostly lower than for any other sector.
This makes the wages more internationally competitive from a business perspective, and hooks into "Individual contributors in Europe are not as valued as much as managerial professions" Because you can get the work from somewhere else cheaper.
The network, the platform-provider, the platform?
There is precedent for regulating the network. And Parler can run it's own server . I think there is enough competition in the platform space to allow platforms to regulate themselves.
