I think this depends on the type of person. When you're kind to some people even though they're mean, they don't improve. With others I've seen them be nicer to me, but I felt our value were really different so although they wanted to be friends with me, I didn't want to be friends with them. But I may have to work on refining how nice I am and to what sort of people etc.
Sometimes people just wake up in the middle of the night and have trouble falling asleep so they send emails or do other boring stuff, so they can fall asleep again. I've done that on occasion. If it were me, I would just concentrate more on my job and less on what my coworkers were doing.
Also it depends on what language you want to learn. If you want to learn Spanish you can speak with native speakers who don't speak say English in the US.
Is tinder a real word? I thought it was just a made up word for an app? I can't be expected to explain such words in another language when I can't explain them in my native language. But I think if you said spark instead that would be more reasonable such you need to rub two pieces of wood together and create a spark and then a fire starts.
Maybe they were joking, who knows. That same thing said that people making $100,000-$150,000 couldn't come up with $2,000 when asked on the street or something like that. Probably if someone asks me these questions on the street I'm not going to be honest either.
I thought of this idea recently. Something to connect voters with people living in swing states. So that they could use the address of those people to go vote. For instance PA is very close to NY and Nevada is very close to CA, and so on. So people could vote in near by states where their vote would make a difference once they got the address of someone in a swing state. Because you can't register to vote using a po box or private mail box.
They could cook on the weekend or on their day off and try to use a crock pot or bake things as those can be done while doing other things at the same time.
As with many surveys etc Asians are too small a number to be listed. That's why for many cases, I just tend to look at the white response as I figure that is the closest group to Asians.
When I tried dating apps they showed me people outside my preferences so they were a waste of time. So I gave up on online dating and dating in general, it's just too time consuming. I just resigned myself to being forever alone.
Maybe if you like yoga, try pilates. Only one time in my pilates class has there been a guy. I've also heard barre is pretty these days and I think that's also mostly women and maybe similar to yoga.
I tried to focus on finding someone in my 20's and 30's and couldn't find anyone and now I'm in my 40's and I just give up. It's too time consuming etc. I've come to the realization that most likely there isn't anyone for me and my life would have been much better if I had focused completely work and not bothered with dating.
I personally thought I had a bad sense of smell but some guys have smelled really bad to me at conversation range, so I do have some sense of smell. Some women as well use too many chemicals such as hairspray, etc and smell extremely bad. I don't think they know how badly they smell or maybe they smell ok to many people. Once a woman like that sat next to me while I was eating and it really ruined my appetite. I'm not attracted to women but perhaps with women what you're smelling is the chemicals they use.
Some guys I've met in person through friends or on my own had really impressive resumes. But to my nose they smelled really bad. I don't think it was that they needed to shower more. They just naturally smelled bad all the time at least to me, so we weren't compatible.
Well the thing is I specify in my profile the body type that I am looking for which is not obese or morbidly obese since I like to exercise and it's important to me. When emailing guys at least I look at their preferences and only email if I meet those preferences. I think online dating should offer better message filtering so those people don't get to our inbox. And some guys lie about their body type as when I see their photos they say they're athletic and toned when they're morbidly obese.
I think some guys are completely delusional about their looks. I've had morbidly obese guys hit on me when I'm a fit woman. I've also specified in my profile that I like to exercise and am looking for someone who is in shape. I also think somehow my attractiveness isn't coming out as well in photos as it is in person. At least that's what my friends have told me but maybe they're lying.
I think it would be good to encourage passion projects and also encourage them to look at the long term and stay in school although finding a full time job could provide immediate money.
Is San Francisco really on a path to becoming almost entirely white? I thought a large portion of the Sunset and Richmond were Asian and it had a much larger Asian percentage than other cities?
