skellertor··on I turned Facebook into a video game
Facebook, X, Reddit, and even Linkedin - Any webpage on the internet
skellertor··on Show HN: Gatekeeper – Persuade a 34MB Jev-like model to let you into the castle
I must say I did enjoy smack talking your gatekeeper. Fun little game
skellertor··on Show HN: Secret Santa Name Generator – draw names in the browser, no sign-up
Cool idea. I like the Christmas themed UI. Do you have many users?
skellertor··on Show HN: Premortem – AI agents that red-team your startup idea
I like the name, and the idea. Not sure 6 AI Agents could give you the feeback that the free market naturally provides. Cool idea though
skellertor··on Show HN: Fumble – keybr, but it learns from everything you type (macOS)
What a cool idea. This would be great for kids learning to type. Help them get the kinks our early
skellertor··on Show HN: Engineer Profiles - Quantify your work and experience
Thanks!
skellertor··on What if we talked about over-60s’ screen time as we talk about young people’s?
Speaking about wasting time! Reading that article was a waste of time. That was more of a journal entry of a woman disgruntled with her family life, than it was on the "screen time" of various age groups
skellertor··on Going Deep on UUIDs and ULIDs
Excellent! I had no idea this was being worked on. Thanks for sharing!
skellertor··on Don’t Confuse a Bug’s Priority with Its Severity
It looks like it works on the brave browser, but not chrome or firefox
skellertor··on Don’t Confuse a Bug’s Priority with Its Severity
It looks like the opacity on the text is set to 0. You can't even read the content. Does anyone else even notice this?
skellertor··on What React Does (and Doesn't Do)
This quote made me chuckle. "If a tree falls in the forest and that tree didn’t call setState… well, as far as React is concerned that tree is still standing". I like the clarification on what exactly react is doing, versus what some might think it is doing.
skellertor··on Show HN: Why you can say abso-flippin-lutely but not ab-flipping-solutely
What a bunch of bull-frickin-shiz. Very interesting topic.
skellertor··on History of the browser user-agent string (2008)
Judging by his verbiage such as "In the beginning", and "behold", I would say yes. I rather enjoyed the tone.
skellertor··on Batman's Love Letter in HTML: Your First HTML Code
An interesting and amusing way to teach html! Nice job
skellertor··on Tuvi.io
Maybe add this to Show HN
skellertor··on Ask HN: What’s your favorite talk from 2017?
Just watched it. Hilarious because it's so true.
skellertor··on Someone Is Selling a Genuine FBI Surveillance Van on EBay
To have this sitting in front of my house would be perfect, seeing that my WIFI SSID is SURVEILLANCE_VAN_53! Seeing old police cruiser around are all too common. That would be great to see auctions that provided old FBI surveillance vehicles.
skellertor··on Microsoft Adds an OpenSSH Client to Windows 10
Holy smokes! Why did it take them that long? This is why Microsoft loses so often. They crawl when it comes to innovation. Thank goodness for their surface line of products
skellertor··on Show HN: Airmash – Multiplayer Missile Warfare HTML5 Game
What a fun little game! Well done
skellertor··on Show HN: A Brutalist-Design Chat Web App
Doesn't seem to work on android
skellertor··on My offer numbers from big companies
I'm getting a 403 for this site. Any one else experiencing this?
skellertor··on How Developers Stop Learning: Rise of the Expert Beginner (2012)
Excellent article. Definitely can see this in the industry as well as in myself.
skellertor··on The sound of the dialup, pictured (2012)
Very intersting glimpse into our past and DTMF.
skellertor··on Fifty-three year old nuclear missile accident revealed
“I wasn’t there,” Smith said of the explosion, “but I know there were two technicians who ruined their underwear. 'Cause that ain’t supposed to happen.”

Best line of the story. I'm curious how close we've been to nuclear annihilation and we had no idea.

skellertor··on Ask HN: What is the significance in Hacker News' domain name “ycombinator.com”
Thanks! I realized that I have been reading HN for the last year and always thought the domain name was strange, but never really dug into the meaning. Makes sense.
skellertor··on Easiest Webserver for Node Js, PHP, Python with Support for Free SSL (Let's Enc)
This is very cool. The fact that it handles load balancing, clustering, and SSL is great. I started with Rancher, but I currently use AWS ecs (ec2 container service) and setting up the elb was a pain. Nice job! This is legit! Maybe move this to Show HN so more people can see it
skellertor··on The Past and Future of the DeLorean
A 500 lb. design update seems a little crazy. What did they add? A 500 lb. spoiler?
skellertor··on How I wrote my first 1,000 view IT-related post on Medium
Absolutely. I noticed you are a JS developer. There are some large react, angular, frameworkX, frameworkNext groups you can share your content with. I'm always finding interesting technical articles on LinkedIn!
skellertor··on How I wrote my first 1,000 view IT-related post on Medium
HN is a great resource to get your articles out ( as you've already discovered ). Reddit and LinkedIn also seem to be good places to get some traction on your articles.
