To bad that Google will not resisting messing it up in some way or another. Setting terrible guardrails, banchmaxxing, having 5 different approved ways of starting with models where 3 of them will be obsolete in 6m, having bad harnesses, not enabling all sub features to most of the planet...

I am not sold on this for 2 reasons:

-I was hoping deltadb would be agnostic about who writes/reads to it, but it actually forces you to use their editor/agent harness which is a no go for me.

-I am not sold on the value of reading other people agent threads and jumping into them half baked. Let me review the piece of code when you, person who made it with or without AI, think its ready to be reviewed with nice summary of the change. I don't need to read X threads with XX messages on the process how it was made with all the little "continue", "fix that" in between.

Its weird that american people never protest anything in big masses, or at least its very rare and almost never happens for core livelihood issues (wars, cost of living, corrupt politics...). It's so different compared to Europe, and I was always wondering why. Is it better propaganda machine or?

So we get actual mega useful tech banned for minors before we get ultimate useless brain damaging tech (social networks) banned for minors.

Easy solution is to never ever use anything from Google unless you really must. They are the worst company by far in just starting stuff and abandoning them and providing zero support.

Sadly Hague is only for people from small and non powerful countries.

With how many countries Iran started direct war with, even with this religious rulers in power?

With how many countries Israel started direct war with? With how many countries USA started direct war with? (thousand of miles away and contents apart)

When has Iran attacked the USA?

For my grug brain can somebody translate this to ELIgrug terms?

Does this mean I would be able to run 500b model on my 48gb macbook without loosing quality?

Next took a very bad turn and double downed on it. Coupled with years of terrible bugs its beyond repair for me unless they rewind a bunch of core changes they did.

There are several much better options right now. My favourite is Tanstack Start. No magice, great DX

Lost me at "use workflow" directive. This and Next16 expanding the set of directives just makes me question if I'm the mad man for thinking they are absolutely terrible.

I'm sure Google and Bing don't show Russian websites including Yandex in results /s

I dont want this by default. I want my website to end up in AI chatbots. For SEO

Language and/or library issue. DI helps code be easier to follow, more decoupled and read with less boilerplate AND helps testing much easier.

If you are on node/ts look at effect-ts.

Older people on social networks are cooked. I mean in general, we are entering an age where making scams and spreading false news will be easily done with 10$ of credits.

"woman from the UK was denied entry into Canada and because of that was denied entry back into the US"

You are proving my point, she was again detained by USA for 3 weeks when it could have been resolved much better and faster.

"It’s even worse in other countries."

It's not. I take you are comparing to western countries. If you have a valid visa and behave even remotely normal to the border agents you will have no issues. Only in the USA some border agents have the attitude of "I'm gonna get you" or making you feel unwelcome for no reason. Hell, even in "authoritarian" countries like UAE or Quatar I never experience anything but pleasant interactions on the border.

"Switzerland by train and in the middle of the night being woken up by border guards with barking German shepherds asking for my passport"

What is exactly wrong here? They checked your passport and went on their way, that is how it works.

Objective is to earn as much money as possible without regard for people. Those detention centers and prisons are privately owned.

Is this AI written? :)

What about Germans living in Argentina? :)

Some people report some negative experiences for any tool ever brought into existence.

What do you suggest?

Why not?

Working with google APIs is often an exercise in frustration. I like their base cloud offering the best actually, but their additional APIs can be all over the place. These AI related are the worst.

For some reason I can't reply to "luddit3" below you. But he should check a list of countries that started the most wars and invasions in the last 150 years and which one tops it easily.

Realistically, a better wifi chip would add almost nothing to production cost, but there are a lot of professionals doing product photography that would like fast wifi tethering.

Well, that would prevent them from selling overpriced grips with integrated better wifis which is 999 usd from Cannon...

I agree on what the main purpose is and that must be executed well, but it is 2025 and for a 5 000 usd camera we should be able to get both, great working camera with amazing and fast software.

I have cannon r5 and previously had sony cameras. I'm bamboozeled how in this day and age software connecting cameras with PCs is so bad, not to mention tethered shooting. And the fact that 5+k camera have slow wifi chips for no reason so you cant tether via wifi just angers me.

Software on the actual camera is yet another question for me, why don't we have cameras with full fledged modern OS-es running custom androids for example with installable apps so you can finish a lot of stuff on the camera itself or make sharing to wherever a breeze.
