Clean because we have somehow written off the devastation of Chernobyl and Fukushima as trivial.
I don’t want a nuclear plant within 100 miles of my home because I have lived through three meltdowns and do not want to be displaced by a fourth.
But sure, in the moment nuclear emissions are super green.
Meanwhile, natural reservoirs like Tahoe do not even recognize there in a drought.
This was obvious when they did it. Don’t let them rewrite history.
My private car however has only my germs. No drugs. No needles. No piss. No stinky bums laying across the seats. My music. Air conditioning. Goes where I want, when I want it.
The only difference is cost. My private car costs me a lot. Your public transit dream also cost ME a lot.
I don’t see how bitching about your boss’s tweets constitutes discussing working conditions.
Politicize and campaign on your own time. I’ve had to keep my mouth shut at work for decades. Time the fanatical left learn the same.
They don’t say it directly, but woven throughout all these sad stories is a lifetime of abuse.
I called my local doctor asking for the vaccine because I wanted it administered by someone used to delivering vaccines and trained in same. They don’t have them and referred me to CVS and Walgreens.
I cannot help but wonder if the administration is correlated in the high number of adverse events.
They are probably a few other things, but this is the mystery of their valuation.
It’s the next 9,950 years that no one has been able to complete successfully.
Start mucking about with the price of this service and the next thing you know, hospitals are not stocking enough doses or the Pharma Corp has trouble recruiting volunteers to make immunoglobulin. Then you get bit by a rabid dog and go to the ER only to find out they gave their last dose to some kid yesterday and the next ration delivery is weeks away.
Miracles cost money. These people are bickering about a $20k bill when their alternative was to get their papers in order and pick out $10k in funeral arrangements.
Sure, act like the vaccines have been around forever. You are revealing your age. Some of us have seen this show before in 2009 and in the 1970s. Even with the best intentions, scientists make mistakes.
Ignore the data from Britain, Israel, Massachusetts, anecdotes here. Just keep on spewing the CDC/CNN talking points as gospel.
The only reason we are told to see the illiquid wealth of billionaires as a problem is the lie that Congress can spend that money better.
They cannot.
Individual contributors however live at their desks and no one hesitates to interrupt them.
So having your execs in the open seems egalitarian, but it is an empty gesture.
Diversity begins in schools.
