To give you a macroscopic example, the way you detect the color of an object is to apply electromagnetic radiation in the visible light spectrum to the object and see which wavelengths are absorbed and reflected. The process of absorption and reflection is a physical interaction with the object you're looking at.
Punishing the perpetrators won’t put the water back in the same way punishing a murderer won’t bring the victim back. We don’t punish to make right. We punish to deter.
1) Limiting PFOF because it creates possible conflicts of interest.
2) Limiting "gamification" of trading via engagement prompts.
3) Adding sub-penny prices to exchanges to harmonize them with market makers. This is to encourage more orders to be sent to exchanges instead of market makers.
How are any of these things capitulating to institutional investors?
Second, why start defining someone a human at conception? Isn’t birth control depriving a possible person of their rights too?
You offered an opinion without proof, which is that Apple wouldn't exist. This is why these "debates" are so unproductive. Both sides have unfalsifiable positions.
Also, Lim lists herself as a director of the film in her Twitter bio[0], so it seems like a lot more than a maybe at this point.

Separate from all that, I don't understand your larger point about Lim. She went from Crazy Rich Asians which grossed over 200 million, and then went directly to work on Raya, which grossed over 100 million, and now is directing and producing her own movie with hand chosen writing talent. Where exactly is she struggling? And where are writers being forced on her?
If you question whether or not a slave is a person, then I don't know what to tell you.
The tl;dr is that there is a group called EcoHealth Alliance that was working with the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV) making novel coronaviruses by modifying the furin cleavage site of coronaviruses taken from bats. The WIV (along with EcoHealth Alliance and also potentially the Chinese military) was also making chimeric viruses from the viruses responsible for SARS and MERS. They were then using these viruses to infect "humanized" mice (mice with human lung tissue). The head of EcoHealth Alliance, Peter Daszak, was one of the first to denounce the possibility of a lab leak (without disclosing the work he was doing at WIV of course). Daszak was later kicked off the Lancet’s COVID-19 commission because he refused to share old progress reports on the work he was funding at WIV.
All of this evidence is circumstantial, but it's really a bit suspicious that this outbreak started just a few kilometers where this exact type of virus was being created.
Many believe, myself included, that women should have the right to control their own bodies, and access to abortions is part of that right. You don't leave rights up to the states. Rights are supposed to be guaranteed at all levels of government.
For instance, look how blocks are declared in Objective-C: http://fuckingblocksyntax.com/
I don't know, how many? Your example of Daniels is interesting because Daniels were discovered, so it doesn't help me understand how many people are out there that could do a great job but don't have the opportunity.
I've consumed a lot of amateur writing, music, and comedy. Most people just suck at creative endeavors. On the other hand, I once saw the most beautiful performance by a girl busking on the street. Fast-forward a few years, and now she's doing world-wide tours constantly and has a great musical career. With YouTube, Twitch, Spotify, and TikTok, it's never been easier for talented young artists, writers, and directors to rise up from obscurity.
