The economy sucks because of Biden—he’s only benefiting from what Trump built!
The economy is wonderful because of Biden — if Trump gets in it will go back to huge inflation and crap!
I simply can’t justify restaurant spending right now, for example. No way I’m buying a new car with 7% interest rates.
Wrong
This is why a lot of what PT’s do is teach you simple exercises to work ALL of your muscles, including those that might not get activated in our day to day existence, leading to problems.
But, make no mistake, I’m pro-Rivian, and am on the Rivian subreddit.
Rivian owners and fans are quick to jump on any valid criticism of their beloved Rivian and downvote contrary thought into oblivion.
Not surprised you’re getting hate for valid feedback.
I’m a lawyer who represent a number of disabled individuals (including the blind). My clients with vision impairments as all in on Apple products, saying that the accessibility features are head and shoulders above other options.
I don’t want the gov’t to implement my personal moral worldview. I want the gov’t to assure a basic level of law abiding and morality (I.e don’t kill or steal), and stay out of the rest.
That’s what makes the story noteworthy. Somehow a person can do this and NOT go straight to jail 450 days ago for trespassing
Many of these big issues (homelessness, immigration, universal income, abortion) come down to one’s particular viewpoint on humanity and human rights, and if folks aren’t in alignment from that foundation, no amount of dialogue changes the disagreement that flows from the foundation.
This phrase would include any non-owner professional like lawyers or doctors or even upper management.
On top of that many tech workers don’t fit even your definition because equity is often an important part of comp. That’s not the case for lawyers or doctors or management in other industries.
Using standard and customary vernacular, tech workers are not “working class.”
Is there a way to make a separate partition of MacOS and have one copy with SIP and one without?
Whoever sold it wouldn't have sold it if they knew a merger would be announced the very next day (or wouldn't have sold it at that price, to be more accurate).
An options contract gives you the right to buy or sell a security to a counterparty at a fixed price at any time on or before the expiration date.
As you note, the chances of being able to buy a share from someone on or before Friday for $127 (when the stock was publicly trading below that) was near valueless ($.04). Not anymore!
But, obviously, that's pretty insane. Agree with everything that this is a big leap in the step of better protection for users.
I agree with OP that the $13 I spend on YouTube is easy money. Would happily spend that amount or more on an alternative.
Then, not only is it great that he’s preserving history, but I love his delivery. Short, no filler, but long enough to give a little flavor.
That ship has sailed
1. The VPN is being honest. No tracking. All is well.
2. The VPN is lying, tracking, maybe even reselling your traffic. Fair enough, but they’re not in any more privileged situation than your ISP. They still can’t see inside your TLS connections and whatnot. And you still get the ancillary benefits of:
A. Geographic diversity of IPs;
B. Easy to get a new IP;
C. Security at potentially unsafe access points.
So, worst case, for $80 a year you get some IP flexibility and security at Starbucks. Best case, you also get the whole no-tracking thing.
Copyright law on both sides of the pond is asinine.
The supporters of copyright fear monger and present a parade of horribles that will flow if excessive copyright isn’t allowed. (Folks will “abuse” the Mickey Mouse character via pornography, etc).
But I think history has, and will continue to, prove out that these are BS and that it’s all just a cash grab.
