Sounds a little confusing. If I announce mate in one or two, I could be incorrect. Do we stop to prove it? That would spoil the cadence of the game.
Also, it would be hard to play blitz or speed games.
One of my favorite stories was my walking past a PhD math guy agonizing over a bug in his massive Fortran code. The print out was two inches thick. I made my usual comment, not even slowing my pace as I walked by his desk…. something like: that comma looks like it is in column 80 on your list of passed arguments. Well, that was his bug and I think I forever got more respect from him than I ever deserved.
I've been approached about five times in the last 40 yrs with people eager to sell Amway-type services. These people were "friends" or more than casual acquaintances. I would always warn them that, while I was fascinated with the mechanics of this type of business, I would listen to everything they had to say but at the end of our meetings, they would probably get no sale from me. This did not stop them from wasting hours of their time.
It was so amazing how the right buttons got pushed on these people and they bought into the whole MLM ecosystem.
These riders are so dangerous. I’m all for fun but some of these rides push the envelop a little too much and apart from the mechanical issues, a lot of people have unknown medical conditions and the rides bring out the worst.
Just had a dedicated 120v 20 A circuit installed. I was clear that I worked on complex systems but fully respected what a trade person could do. It’s easy to look at his work after the fact and say “I could have done that” but it’s fully to code and wife is happy.
Now on to my plumbing issue. I’m calling a plumber.
I moved over to this oatmeal recently. Following their instructions, I now used water as opposed to milk. While we have oatmeal almost daily (with a cooked apple and cinnamon and fruit and/or peanut butter), cleaning the pan when it was cooked in milk was a buzzkill. Anyway, cooking in water is much easier to clean the pan, which is a great motivator.
Overnight oats is also great.
Not sure I am following your point. You commented that people have choices, good and bad. I presented you with a story where a good boy was watering his mother's yard and he was thrown in prison (28 yrs) for a murder he did not commit. I guess the only choice to be made was the corrupt police employees?
I think you and I will go around and around in circles on this. I wish you well.
I hired a few contractors out of the bay area to another state where their salary was 1/3 a nice permanent home and they ended up scattering to other parts of the country. One even went back to the Bay Area. Yes there are nice places to live besides the bay area.
Not a medical person here, but suggest you do not let off on the gas and sleuth a little more as to why this happened and not just take sedentary behavior as the cause. If insurance supports, see if you have a hole in your heart via a bubble study, not that you will make any changes at your age, but you may better understand your health and perhaps have a Plan B should you have a repeat issue or something on the other side of your circulatory system like amorous fugax. Wishing you a long life and happy holidays.
do not leave food out for dogs/cats.
make sure your garbage cans are secure.
the fecal matter can be quite dangerous if you have an outdoor sandbox for the kids.
don't assume our dog will chase them off, they may attack you and you may find yourself needing rabies shots.
I once placed a trap cage out for them, and the two babies were captured. The mother and father worked all thru the night to rescue them attempted to drag the cage across the street. (I did let them go).
