blader_johny··on Show HN: gRPC over WebRTC
flatend has bi-directional rpc enabled: https://github.com/lithdew/flatend

Can stream large files too!

blader_johny··on Show HN: Flatend – Quickly build microservices using P2P networking in Node/Go
I'm working with OP on flatend. I saw your Show HN a couple days ago, it's an extensive suite for code generation indeed. I'm seeing some crossover opportunity here. May I ask if express.js is a compulsory requirment for generating with xgenecloud?
blader_johny··on Show HN: Marple – Visualising millions of datapoints for engineers
sorry for the tight tone. I was clicking on the link on the first load and the images are all broken. It worked after several refreshes. Thanks for heads up!
blader_johny··on Show HN: Marple – Visualising millions of datapoints for engineers
Site is broken (broken images). Fix it before you launch.

blader_johny··on Beautiful AppStore Presentation in a few clicks
Would be nice to have Desktop views too for web apps (e.g. made in Electron for MacOS).
blader_johny··on Show HN: Hackeroo now also works as online RSS reader with a read later function
Font hurts my eyes... Recommend to use sans serif fonts for readability.
blader_johny··on Show HN: Introducing Webase, a Platform for Creating Applications
Why not just allow users to generate the app from a spreadsheet? Right now it seem cumbersome to create a 'model' within Webase...
blader_johny··on Ask HN: How do you manage your bookmarks?

blader_johny··on Ask HN: How do you manage your bookmarks?
I have this problem too. In fact, I built a tool to better serve my own needs [0]. It helps to categorize links based on keywords. Best for article links but also works for generic links, as long as a title and description is present.

blader_johny··on Show HN: Stackkup – Auto-Tagging Bookmark Base
hey @leshokunin, I'm reachable at jon.ma@stackkup.com! Glad to discuss how to provide help for your task :D
blader_johny··on Show HN: Stackkup – Auto-Tagging Bookmark Base
Thanks for the headsup! I'm adding SSL and custom domain in the next few days. Do stay tuned to updates!
blader_johny··on Show HN: Stackkup – Auto-Tagging Bookmark Base
It's a process involving basic Natural Language Processing tools: stopword removal and dictionaries. It works well for English most of the time (when the link is an article) and Chinese not as accurate (Chinese is hard to segment into useful words tbh).

What kind of links are you looking to auto-tag?

blader_johny··on Show HN: Stackkup – Auto-Tagging Bookmark Base
Hi, I'm Jonathan. I built this tool out of frustration over existing bookmark managers (e.g.built-in Chrome) that you have to manually organize by creating folders. Auto-tagging is simple using the existing meta-data (title, description, body text). Hope it can help those with 100+ tabs open right now :)
blader_johny··on Ask HN: How to discover/read quality content?
Here's a collection of your submitted HN links: http://ec2-18-139-223-173.ap-southeast-1.compute.amazonaws.c...
blader_johny··on Ask HN: How to discover/read quality content?
Not to hard-sell but I would recommend discovering content via sites like HN or Reddit where quality content gets upvoted. I built a tool[0] for curating quality content so you can share to friends.

blader_johny··on Show HN: Bookmark manager with ability to group and share related bookmarks
Have you considered tag based grouping? Just grouping manually is not different to the native Chrome bookmark manager...
blader_johny··on Show HN: A tiny isometric city builder in JavaScript
Built a similar builder prototype here: http://e2s-game.surge.sh/

Suppose it should contain a mission where you need to answer a set of questions to proceed

blader_johny··on Show HN: I Made a Minimalist Customer Support App
While building my main project (stackkup.com), I was looking for a Help Center solution get answers to customers' questions when I wasn't immediately available.

There are customer chatbot solutions out there but I feel overwhelmed by the effort to set up dialogue logic. Thus Sparrw's idea formed and I'm seeing if anyone thinks this is useful for them!

blader_johny··on Show HN: Minimal Help Center Chatbot for Startups
I was looking for a solution to serve customers and get answers to questions on occasions where personal touch is not available via chat (or I wasn't immediately available).

There are chatbots specifically for customer support but I feel overwhelmed by the effort to set up dialogue logic. Thus Sparrw idea formed and I'm seeing of anyone else has the same need.

blader_johny··on Show HN: Minimal Help Center Chatbot for Startups
Thanks for reminding! Got it fixed now: https://sparrw.surge.sh
blader_johny··on Show HN: Visualize how HN/Reddit talk about your company and products
We made something similar at a hackathon: https://spicy-lip.surge.sh/features
blader_johny··on Show HN: Insight Generation Using Text Network Visualization
How is a vertex created between two nodes? Is it created when two words appear in the same sentence?

What do the different colors represent?

blader_johny··on Show HN: Add web analytics to a Google Doc in 20 seconds
Not that useful. So it creates another link injecting other js? A bit of security risk for users...
blader_johny··on Show HN: Find and Explore Interesting Websites Together
That's amazing! I built a bookmark curation tool Stackkup (http://stackkup.com). Can I use your feed to fill up a collection? Will link back and add your logo for credits! It will be even more amazing if you have a public API!
blader_johny··on Show HN: Stackkup – Don't let tabs slow the browser down
Stackkup focuses on organizing by context (e.g. articles on a specific topic) so that content curation could work best without having to assign "workspaces". Tags can already be its own workspace. On the other hand, Workona, is more on workflow collaboration. Their extension is pretty neat!
blader_johny··on Show HN: Stackkup – Don't let tabs slow the browser down
Sorry for the miscommunication. The video is uploaded now. You may copy bookmarks from your bookmarks manager and paste them into the box.
blader_johny··on Show HN: Stackkup – Don't let tabs slow the browser down
That is a good way to tackle from the behavioral side! It has a mascot too!
blader_johny··on Stackkup – Don't let tabs slow the browser down
Hi, I'm Jonathan. The idea to create Stackkup stems from information overload.

These days, we receive too much info and it is costing us time to sift and extract the useful bits. Moreover, due to a fear-of-missing-out (FOMO) we would end up with dozens of tabs open.

To put an end to this, we need to automate the process of collecting links and create value by supporting collaborative features and sharing.
