boutcher··on Ocient Database Sandbox
Interesting sandbox for using a database that is normally paid for. It has some interesting datasets already loaded
boutcher··on Ask HN: Burned Out. What Now?
This is a good blog on the subject by a friend of mine: https://ravik.substack.com/p/focus-flow-and-burnout
boutcher··on Open-Sourcing Our Reactor Design, and the Future of Transatomic
Got excited about an open source reactor pattern

boutcher··on Ask HN: The most cyberpunk city in the world?
Definitely not Shanghai (unless you consider everyone heads-down on their phones a symptom of cyberpunk.)

Shenzhen is a good choice though.

How about Tallinn

boutcher··on Ask HN: What are the current, best, alternatives to Quicken?
I switched to mint online. Not quite identical to Quicken, but both my wife and I can access it where ever we are. Quicken always sucked at multiple users.
boutcher··on Will you upgrade to Ubuntu 10.10 tonight?
Already did. No issues
boutcher··on If I could change the C language...
This is the same kind of thinking that lead to C++. Most of these changes would add complexity (while at both ends of a loop????) for very little benefit
