tyrabound··on US voters roundly reject data centers in ballot measures
Why not just build the data center right on Oleary's land, right next to his mansion? He'll create jobs there too.
tyrabound··on Napping characteristics and incident dementia
Yes, ironically they even admit possible reverse causal effect along with many other causal variables. Frankly, this is not exactly stellar research in my view, at least with the rather reckless insinuations not supported.
tyrabound··on Bones may release proteins that slow aging and extend life span
This reminds me of the relatively recent discovery/realization of the “second heart” in our calves that pumps blood from the legs.
tyrabound··on The She-Wolves of Jülich
> Perhaps partly a response to the anxieties engendered by both the Inquisition and the Reformation

I really hate when these kinds of wild and dull speculations are peppered into articles.

In this case it is also rather ironic since the very set of events claimed to have happened were also likely caused by similar wild and ignorant speculation.

tyrabound··on Landline phones will switch off across Britland in 100 days, no extensions
It’s really one of the biggest failures on all of our societies that there are not only clear QoS requirements but also clear and strictly enforced consequences, including for politicians and their lies and people having to pay for the things they support.
tyrabound··on US Reps Lead Democratic Resolution Opposing A.I. Bubble Bailout for Big Tech
There should never be any kind of bailout that does not lead to public ownership, like any investment, regardless of whether it should have happened.

Everything else is theft and money laundering and criminality.

tyrabound··on Archive.today links going forward
As much effort that has been put into trying to subjugate and control archive.today, it makes me immediately leery of believing any of this was some kind of deliberate thing on behalf of archive.today.

It’s not to say it’s not so, but people are fools to just chomp down on the bait.

tyrabound··on Archive.today links going forward
Without clear and irrefutable evidence, which is nearly impossible, the Vault 7 releases should have been more than adequate to quell any doubts that you can believe any kind of claim of foreign campaigns. Why would a V Russian operation link to a fake RT site? A discerning individual world always anime that whatever you are being directed towards is the least likely accurate/correct thing.
tyrabound··on Microsoft offers mass buyouts for roughly a quarter of its workforce
The whole thing is rational, regardless of whether you realize it.

There are several issues with your position. Of course there are other factors, but it is inherently disingenuous and dishonest to ignore the fact that just alone since the year 2000 at least 45 million foreigners and their children are in the USA that would not have been here just based on natural population growth. So it's up to you if you can rationalize hard enough to ty to make an argument that adding 45 million additional people to the population would not have had some measurable impact on the "massive increase in housing valuations".

Genuinely, were you at all aware of just how many foreign people had come to the USA and then had children?

tyrabound··on UK to charge universities $1,200 per international student
That's a nonsense and abusive sophist argument. You are right, knowledge can also be obtained and received in one's home country instead of taken and pilfering from the indigenous of other countries, depriving them of their natural and hereditary right and self-determination against their will and given away by people without the right to give away what is not theirs to give.
tyrabound··on US Government is hiding a secret court ruling about how it spies on Americans
What else could have been expected when this fake imitation America started creating the FISA courts and created the treasonous 5-eyes network of circumventing the Constitution like traitors do.
tyrabound··on UK to charge universities $1,200 per international student
It should be $500,000. Is absolutely insane that a society would sell out and betray not just its own people, its own children, but its own whole society and culture by giving away the immense value of their education, the accumulated knowledge of centuries for free, something that is not even morally or ethically theirs to give away for free. It is essentially a criminal theft and malfeasance, treason.

That applies in any country, for any society, any culture. It is effectively your own parents betraying you to advantage, advance, and favor the children of others. It is such a deep betrayal, overt treason! A healthy society would punish this kind of craven betrayal in the most extreme way.

tyrabound··on Microsoft offers mass buyouts for roughly a quarter of its workforce
I suspect there is still a good amount of shedding the defensive-hiring going on from the pre-AI, low interest, high growth inflation front-loading era. Now all that is crumbling, interest is rising, growth is contracting due to several factors, and AI is clearly crushing manpower demands. What do you do under these new circumstances with an excess of staff you largely hired as capacity and defensively?

It may be a bit controversial, but I believe the male tectonic shifts going in right now under our feet are also driving much of the shift regarding “immigration” because billionaires don’t need immigrants as much anymore and they’re also causing systemic problems in things like the housing market. In fact from what I’m hearing, there is concern that immigration is now becoming a potential cost due to the major changes in society rather than a profit center by scaling up marginal returns from every immigrant you can import by hook or crook, i.e., the more people you import, the more you can undermine salaries and increase revenues and thus, profits.

tyrabound··on Oregon Police Are Charging a Local News Outlet $2.5M for Records About One Cop
There are very few things that are as important as excising this insidious organized criminal syndicate we erroneously call the justice system.
tyrabound··on France asked ISPs to prepare temporary DNS blocks for major social platforms
Because they know the tradecraft.

You can always be assured of one thing, if the USA/west control apparatus does something defensive, it is because they’re very familiar with why it needs to be done to counter methods they’ve not only used, but successfully so to overthrow governments and cause chaos in societies.

tyrabound··on Getting ready to operate GNU Taler in Germany
You are a perverse petty tyrant no matter how much you try to use manipulation, gaslighting, and emotive abuse to try to beat people down. You are not talking to your wife or other weak people you abuse, you can dispense with that childish tyrannical mindset when you talk to a man.

If words scare you so much you are a mere animal. But you know that.

tyrabound··on Getting ready to operate GNU Taler in Germany
It's not the primary path you should be thinking about. It has been revealed in many cases, situations, and through many different methods that the primary path is effectively neutralized by circumventing it altogether, well before 1989 too.

It's never the primary battlefront that is really important, it's always the flanks my friend.

You are falling into a false consensus trap. You are asking a question of someone who has zero comprehension or understanding of the context or foundational knowledge that would enable them to actually answer that question, let alone come to a realization by asking it in a socratic way that you likely subconsciously meant it to be.

You are well beyond the zone of proximal development, the idea that challenging someone somewhat, but within their range of understanding will lead them to come to new understandings and realizations. This person represents a type of people (and not him personally) who lack such fundamental common understanding that you may as well ask that question of a cat.

That's not meant personal, it is a universal challenge and you asking that question is also an example of the very trap you fell into asking it. You lacked the understanding of what you were doing. Many peel fall for this, often even the most "educated" or "intelligent" ... which really should put the definition of "intelligence" itself into question since the "intelligent" keep repeating these types of rather simple mistakes.

I don't even know what to say to that. No wonder the western civilization is crumbling and being overrun right before our very eyes.
tyrabound··on Woman charged with computer fraud due to scam CashApp account being in her name
What exactly is your definition of free? Do you mind explaining your thought process on that?

I am genuinely curious because I simply lack the ability to understand that meme I keep encountering; that things that cost money should be free.

Is it just that you want others to pay for things you like, do, have, or want? Or do you just not really have an idea of where things you like, want, do, or have come from and that things can't be "free" like they were when you lived with your parents?

I am genuinely baffled by this type of mentality. I actually understand my cat better than I understand this mentality, because the human is supposed to have higher order thinking skills that appear to be wholly absent.

tyrabound··on Woman charged with computer fraud due to scam CashApp account being in her name
I thought we were making it free? Are you paying for this idea since it is going to be free to me? Where and when do you sign up to pay for it so it can be free to me?
tyrabound··on Jared Kushner Hacked Phone Reveals Secret Negotiations, Millions in Transactions
That's not really how the system works, in most cases it would be a jury trial... admittedly, with all its major structural flaws in its current form.

However, even if the system is as very rotten as it is, just alone demonstrating and shining a light on it can not only overcome the blatant, rotten corruption of the fake justice system, but it could also force the system to further damage and pollute its legitimacy and...more importantly...get people to see the corruption. That alone could cause exponentially more damage to the fake legitimacy of the system, if people are actually paying attention and not doing whatever meaningless things most people do like watch the telescreen for their daily programming or obsessing about men playing with balls in various forms.

tyrabound··on Jared Kushner Hacked Phone Reveals Secret Negotiations, Millions in Transactions
No need to fear it, you can be assured that some version of that will be what happens in this fake theater of the ruling class where their "left" puppet squabbles and fights the "right" puppet in their puppet show. I am sure the Democrats will "investigate" and hold "hearings" that look like doing things and they may even discover how terrible, horrible, no good, very bad the other side is ... so you should donate.

The problem is and long has been that they are all implicated and criminal and traitors to different degrees and using different ways and means; the cat burglar accusing the smash-and-grab burglar of being a criminal beyond the pale.

Until people realized that all the fake "left" and "right", and the "Democrat" and "Republican" is just the two levers of the same ratchet, nothing will change. Unfortunately for us all, the trend and characteristics projected forward seem to indicate that nothing will change until everything breaks and the enemies of the Constitution and its rights everyone takes for granted all around the globe are finally overcome again after 250+ years of suffering with peasants having rights.

tyrabound··on Jared Kushner Hacked Phone Reveals Secret Negotiations, Millions in Transactions
Not to make this political, but if the democrats gain control they better at least actually try to prosecute these criminals and not just make it yet another circle jerk asking for donations and never actually accomplishing anything. At some point the ruling class is going to mess around and everyone’s head ends up on a pile regardless. This is the time to demonstrate your head doesn’t deserve on the pile too. Time is running out. Just saying. Things happen fast when they finally cross that threshold that always comes as a surprise.
tyrabound··on Woman charged with computer fraud due to scam CashApp account being in her name
That’s a great idea, just get people to voluntarily sign up to pay for things like that for the criminals. Like you said, take the $2.50 one way several times a day, every day for one person, times however many people do that out of your income since you want to pay for it.

I am no fan of this rotten and illegitimate government or the fake and imitation justice system, but what do you think happens if every thug can just jump fare and get away with it, because if you had $1000 per month taken out of your paycheck every month, in sure you’d be singing a different tune.

tyrabound··on Getting ready to operate GNU Taler in Germany
private and anonymous, especially from the government are two totally separate things.

If I am understanding Taler, it is not like cash coins/paper where the government does not and has no way to know that you, e.g., bought a bottle of wine from a vintner with cash, and that vintner can use that bill/coins in many different ways and the gov't has essentially no way to trace or track that.

The way I am seeing it... please correct me where I'm not understanding something... the Taler architecture would require you to pay cash into an exchange, then you extract (likely IDs/tagged/marked) Taler, you then pay that Taler to a merchant, e.g., who by policy cannot remain anonymous, and that merchant deposits that market Taler into the exchange. So in that scenario, what has happened is that the Taler the merchant received "privately" is clearly associated with the Taler you extracted from the exchange to pay the Taler deposited by the Vintner.

It's maybe private in that the Vintner does not need to know who you are, but you can bet the control freak tyrants in the government will know that you bought that wine.

So what you may say, wine is fine, but what if it's something the government doesn't want you doing, buying, supporting? Maybe wine is now illegal because {fill in the reason}, maybe you are not sufficiently obedient and compliant during an "emergency" and need to be cut off? Maybe you are sanctioned by the EU and all your money is taken and you have no means of even feeding yourself other than the "humanitarian" limit of living on €200/month and you can't even return to your native Switzerland from Brussels because you are not allowed on trains, planes, or allowed to drive across borders like happened to Jaques Baud for speech some tyrannical EU politician or bureaucrat did not like?

tyrabound··on Meta ordered to pay $25B penalty in New Mexico Cambridge Analytica case
That is not clearly to me in that way that, nor is corporations getting away with crimes some kind of new thing that AI will make easier, more, or somehow insulates or distances them.

I see a future where AI permits a massive leveling or resources that were required and allowed corporation to insulate and distance themselves in the past. We are in a situation where individual people can do immense amount of work with a few agents. You may say "well, so can all the individuals in corporations", but I could see how corporations were operating not only close to a limit, but the very immense resource constraints of getting access to, parsing, and margin sense of data/information was extremely difficult in the not at all recent past. Just 4 years ago it was still immensely difficult finding the right data/information, let alone parsing it, properly displaying and relating it, analyzing it, and daring conclusions and knowledge from it.

There are some people who are already using AI to investigate people, organizations, networks, and things that relied on that secrecy by obscurity and hiding behind the massive resource constraints.

Just an example, remember the Panama papers and how it took many journalists many months to individually parse and relate all the information; and I am sure they totally missed things their human minds simply could not fully relate or patterns they could not identify. AI can do all that in seconds as you know and with the right conditions, you can even have it highlight things that you didn't know. Frankly, I was not a fan of the gatekeeping of the various releases of that kind of data, including things like the Snowden releases, because I guarantee it was also a partial limitation operation by intel agencies, but if that information and data were released publicly, unreacted, AI could definitely have helped people highlight and identify things that are probably still hidden and were simply overlooked by the hand full of journalists and the data analysis people they hired to make sense of things.

tyrabound··on Meta ordered to pay $25B penalty in New Mexico Cambridge Analytica case
As long as a corporation is a shield to commit crimes with impunity, nothing will change. We really need to reassess this perverse concept of a corporation where you can simply commit crimes against people, personally profit, yet never be personally held responsible, let alone accountable.

The same thing is causing problems in the financial markets right now, with massive zombie company portfolios of various private equity firms still paying out fees to the managers to siphon off the debt and assets of investors.

tyrabound··on How Quickly Can the DoD Rebuild and Recast the Munitions Industrial Base?
This is a bit old but I will just add that I don't think that would be adequate. I know of several Congress creatures and their families who deliberately, intentionally, willingly and with a political plan in mind to send their children to "war". Of course it is usually in some specialized capacity where they are safe and also generate some prestige, e.g., Air Force, intel, etc. for their inevitable political career.

Sadly, they care less about their own children usually than if you made it far simpler, simply make the full cost of any war totally and solely payable by the ruling/upper classes through both immense taxation on their income, i.e., 90% and a wealth tax of 10%, total forfeiture of all assets if they is any attempt to hidden them and are not reported, and a bounty of 50% for discovery of any unreported assets.

Now THAT would end all wars everywhere, except it would likely also cause the money to try to escape to a place that does not have such policies and use that as a base of operations to build/raise a force of subversion, infiltration, corruption, etc.

Frankly, people really have very little understanding of the "shape" of what they are up against. It's often dismissed and I don't even think the people who call it "spiritual warfare" really understand it either, but it is essentially a power, a force that has been often described, but never defined or identified properly that is essentially an abstraction, a graph, more an amorphous fluid dynamic than a material thing. If you know anyone that is an extremely manipulative narcissist and pathological and deliberate, psychopathic liar, you have come face to face with the constantly shifting, ducking, weaving, and orchestrating nature of the system that so many are hard pressed to understand because it is not a line of men on a battlefield, it is not a missile, it is not even "money" it is data, digital transactions of "currency", information as currency... the life blood of manipulation, abuse, and evil.
